Feeding Guide

The following are the manufacturer's recommended total daily amounts in grams, based on body weight and activity level.

* Less Active: less than 30 minutes of exercise per day
** Active: 30–60 minutes of exercise per day
*** Highly Active: over 60 minutes of exercise per day

These amounts are guidelines and should be adjusted according to your dog's individual needs, activity level and body condition.

Red Mills recommends feeding adult dogs twice daily, with half the daily allowance in the morning and half in the evening. Leader can be fed dry or wet. If feeding wet, use 1 part water to 2 parts food, using lukewarm rather than boiling water, and feed within 30 minutes of preparation.

Always provide a plentiful supply of fresh drinking water.

Red Mills recommends this food for large breed dogs until approximately 6 years of age, after which a suitable senior diet may be more appropriate as energy requirements can decrease.
